Forteza Fitness and Martial Arts gained a reputation for putting on amazing parties, and it all started with the Founders Ball. The theme for this event was “Edwardian Fantasy”. The invitation needed to set the mood and encourage guests to dress up in layer cake gowns and top hats. For this first event we made both paper invitations for VIP’s, and email announcements to the broader clubs mailing list.
This was a collaborative design, working with fellow Forteza student, Erin Fitzgerald.
The save the date email, which was I designed before the final branding was completed, referenced the theme in a different way. It enticed attendees with promise of a short skit from the Princess Bride movie, put on by the fencers.
